Number Seven Reservoir
Number Seven Reservoir is the Village's primary recreational water feature, located approximately 3.2 miles north of the Village limits on County Rd 14. The reservoir is open to the public for fishing, hiking, and passive recreation.
Status: Open
Hours: Dawn to dusk, year-round. The access road is not maintained in winter.
Fishing
Permitted with a valid Ohio fishing license and a Village recreational use permit. Village permits are available at Village Hall during normal business hours.

Permit fee: $5 annually
Catch limits and species regulations per ODNR guidelines apply. The reservoir is stocked periodically through a cooperative arrangement with the county.
Facilities
- Gravel parking area (capacity: approximately 8 vehicles)
- One portable restroom (April through October)
- One picnic table
- Trail: 0.6 miles, unpaved, moderate grade, circles the reservoir. Condition varies by season.
Rules
- Swimming is not permitted.
- Watercraft are not permitted.
- Ice fishing is permitted when ice thickness meets or exceeds 4 inches. The Village does not measure or certify ice thickness.
History
Number Seven Reservoir was constructed in 1948 as part of a regional water management initiative. The reservoir has served as a supplemental water source and recreational site since its completion. It was transferred to Village management in 1971.
The Department does not maintain records regarding the naming convention or the location of any other numbered reservoirs in the series.
