Programs & Events
The Department of Parks & Recreation coordinates seasonal programming and community events in partnership with other Village departments and offices. Program schedules are subject to change.
Spring / Summer
- Municipal Pool season (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
- Community Chili Cook-Off & Summer Seance (July, Civic Park)
- Annual Fishing Derby at Number Seven Reservoir (June, date TBD annually)
- Trail Cleanup Day (scheduled annually; postponed in 2024 and 2025 due to conditions)
- Community Envelope Folding & Sorting (dates vary; see Civic Calendar)
Fall / Winter
- Leaf collection (October through November; schedule posted at Village Hall)
- Cemetery winterization and path clearing
- Reservoir access road status updates posted as conditions change
Pavilion Reservations
The Civic Park pavilion may be reserved for private events through the Clerk's Office. A reservation form, proof of insurance, and a $25 refundable deposit are required.
Alcohol is not permitted in Village parks without a separate event permit approved by Council.
